Just bought a used 1999 Sport Nautique. Dealer ordered a new FCT. Anybody know how long it takes for those to be delivered to the dealer? (central Indiana)

Just trying to sort out the timing of getting the tower installed (and Perfect Pass) and possibly getting the boat summerized at the same time.... :?:

It will be a little while. They are pretty slow at shipping the towers.

It more than likely will depend on a couple of things. If they ship it on the next load of boats coming north either to your local dealer or the warehouse in Angola, Ind. I would just count on four weeks to be safe. That is what we have seen as an average so far. Sometimes the warehouse or another dealer may have one in stock that you dealer can get....but then to ship it to him would be out of sight.

How do you even GO ABOUT purchasing a CC factory tower? I've had an '01 Sport for two years now and I'm sick of dealing with the Fly High and am seriously considering purchasing a FCT. I REALLY like the look of the Nautique towers (especially the ones that would've been on my '01 had it been fitted with a tower) and don't particularly want a non-CC, after-market tower. Any guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to the forum (and forums in general) so I apologize if this information is already somewhere else on the site.

BTW, I love this site and I'm SO glad I stumbled upon it!

Thanks in advance

go through your dealer steve. They can order it for you. It is close to $2500.00

Thanks....However, my problem with going through a dealer is that I really don't have one. I bought my Nautique off a smaller dealer South of
Pittsburgh, PA and he no longer has the Nautique line.

When you say, 'go through my dealer' are you suggesting that I'm best to contact a dealer close to me and go from there?
Thanks

Steve, go to http://correctcraft.com and look for the dealership locater feature. Then give 'em a call and see what they have to say, they might even ship it to you if you feel competent enough installing a tower, although I don't know what the deal is with liability these days. Some dealerships may not feel comfortable allowing you to install the tower yourself.

Thanks. My next question was going to be about installation, but you already covered that.

Steve, Mid Ohio Watersports is less than 2 hours from you. I think the Streetsboro store is like 1 1/2 hours. Call 419-929-9119 and ask for James. He can get you all the information you need as well as installation help if you want to try it yourself. Eric

Yeah, you could zip right up the Ohio Turnpike and ber there in a short amount of time. Used to live in Youngstown and it's about equidistant to either place.
