Greenville SC

I'm seriously considering a re-locate/move to Greenville. It has become too Hot in Florida for my taste. My set-up is sweet here and may, after 35 yrs, give into the idea golf would be easier on the old bod..........however........course skiing is in my blood.

Any and all Greenville'ites, please comment......give me hope there is a ski life after Orlando. What has Greenville to offer a slightly over the hill skier? An Old Dog who likes to cruise the Blue Ridge on his Chopper, listen to crickets chrip at night and go to movies and dinner with his favorate lady/ski partner/boat driver. :)

Greenville and Upstate SC is a great place to live and ski. My favorite lakes in the area are Jocassee, Keowee, and Hartwell. I grew up in the Sunshine State but have lived here for many years. We get four seasons.

Are there any small lakes in or around Greenville? I just moved from the Anderson Area to Mauldin and am looking for a place closer than Greenwood or Hartwell. We have a place out on Lake Secession with a portable course, but I just want a close place to run a set and go back home. Any suggestions?
