Just wondered if anyone else has ordered from Wake Specialties... I placed an order back on 4/29 and have yet to see it. Mid-last week I finally received an email from Kris and said that the order was shipping on Friday. Since I haven't seen the trailer guides and I don't have a tracking number and I have sent 3 emails in the past 48 hours and no replies, I am getting somewhat concerned. Anyone with some info on ordering from them would be appreciated before I contact PayPal about it?
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
I recently ordered not only the trailer guides but dock lines also, seems like it took a month. I would not be concerned.
I live in Fort Wayne also, where do you spend your time on the water?

I order some Dock line and 7 days later received them. For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Maybe Kris is having some trouble with his supplier. I plan on buying some other stuff from W.S, therefore keep us updated on your story.

Thanks for the replies....I'll try to be patient and wait some more...
cward... I spend my time on Hamilton Lake.. friends there that let me keep my lift and boat there. I live in Auburn, so it's a short 15 min drive to the lake in the evenings to take a lap or two... what about you?

I would venture to guess that they are making them indivudually and don't have much in stock supply for quick shipments.

Keep our boat at The Marina on Orland road. Drag and drop every day we can get away, normally James. We'll hit Hamilton yet this spring, I'll drop you a note.
We live on the north side of FW near Leo, It is about 45 minutes for us.

wakejunky... that was my guess too, but when I hadn't seen anything or the website didn't indicate it shipped - I decided to email WS. They emailed back that it was finally made and shipping on Friday and that I would receive a tracking number from UPS... 9 days later, I still don't have a tracking number.
PS Understand my paranoia - at the same time I placed this order I had an incident with credit fraud... so ya, I'm a little overly cautious. The fraud ended up being an old closed card, but still the same - you have to protect yourself.
cward, Leo huh? That's just about 10 min from me... straight down Amstutz Rd. If you make it to Hamilton, look me up on the west side of the lake half-way between the island and the north end of the lake. The only SV211 on the lake (well, last year anyway) and certainly the only all red sv211.

Hi, I am new to the planetnautique. A couple of weeks ago I saw Nautique Logo trailer guides on this website? I don't see them anymore. Does anyone know where I can get these?

I ordered mine from White Lake Marine along with other Nautique stuff. I was very happy with there customer service. I also like the fact they give PN members a 10%discount. I have order other stuff from WS and they were great as well (see comments above). Both shop support PN therefore you can't go wrong with either shop.

You can order them them from WakeSpecialty.com or White Lake Marine. You can click on their banners at the top of the website.

I have to give www.wakespecialty.com (http://www.planetnautique.com/banners.php?op=click&bid=18) a plug here. When looking for trailer guide pads, I saw this company recommended here at planetnautique.com. This same topic mentioned the delays people were having receiving their orders from them. So I called, and spoke with Kris. He instructed me to place my order from the website and he would get them out next day. 48 hrs later, I had them!
I'm extremly happy with the service and product from this company.
One nice thing about the guides from www.wakespecialty.com (http://www.planetnautique.com/banners.php?op=click&bid=18) is they don't have a dealer logo on the pads. They also come in 3 lengths and 4 possible colors.

I cant comment on the guide pads, however i did order a New Dimension Tower and Titan Board Racks through Wake Specialty.
The tower that was supposed to be drop shipped to me got sent to Texas and after spending hours on the phone I ended up driving an hour to pick it up by it supposed delivery date. (May or may not have been WS fault).
The board racks were promised to be shipped right after the 4th of July weekend, and i still have not recieved them (8.2.06). Not only that but when I would call Kris he would tell me some sort of bs then promise to ship etc.
Honestly the few bucks i saved ordering through him was no way worth the hassle of dealing with their incompetence.
Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else. Sh---y service!!!!!!!!!!

jeffsv211 & cward:
Do you guys ever get out to Huntington Reservoir? IMO it's a great place to boat because of the low boat traffic. We used to do James every weekend at the sandbar, however it's tough to get in some good ski or wakeboard time. That's why we spend most of our time at Huntington now.

I ordered trailer guides from him in June '06 and got them in about a week. I tried ordering Bungee doc lines and called to check status, and called, and called, and e-mailed, and called, and e-mailed, and called etc, you get the point. No response. Submitted a paypal claim, no response from him, so paypal got my money back. Nice business etiquette Jack @ss!
