I am seriously considering buying an '03 / '04 210 and have a question...
Can anyone tell me where the Transom lift ring is on the Super Air 210? Or show me a picture of it. I have looked at many pictures of the 210 and do not see that ring.
I see the bow ring, but not the transom. I see that it is standard on the 210...but have no idea where it is.
Sorry if I am blind...thanks.
Ski or Tryan will probably correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe both of the transom lift rings are located in the slanted pockets located even with the swim platform. See the pictures below:

:D good deal. I guess it does make sense that there would be 2 of them for the V-Drive.
Now I guess I need to figure out how I am going to hang it. I am most likely going to build the lift. We built the one for our '78 model.
Since the cables are going to come really close to the transom, I am going to have to rubberize them or somethinf to keep them from scratching the gel coat.
Does anyone have a few pics on hanging the 210...?
Thanks a ton,

I would use a bunk style lift or system instead of hanging from the eye hooks. I have been told that this could warp the bottom of the boat and cause irreversible damage. Of course, I have no proof of this, just what i was told by a CC dealer. BUT... why else would the manufacturers put them there, right? I dont think I would do it though... doesnt make sense to not support directly under the engine when it wouldnt cost much more to make the other style lift.

Correct Craft recomends that you hang from the lift rings... I think I want to do that. That is covered under the lifetime warranty if anything should break as far as the structure.

Alibuma,
Correct Craft is the only company that recommends that you hang your boat by the fully functional lifting rings. They are integrated into the hull to accomodate this. Each boat hangs at the factory a minimum of 3 times before it is shipped so they know it will hold. No other manufacturer designs their rings for this purpose and also posts warning labels that say the hooks aren't intended for lifting the boat.
As far as the lift, you should be able to buy a "Y" strap to lift the stern. Not sure of where to get them but maybe from Overtons. I have seen straps there before but I don't remember all the sizes and shapes they have.

Thanks SkiNautique.
I will look for those "Y" straps. That will work better than what I was going to try and build...
