I was just on Ski-it-again and saw floor mats in a 196.
Does any one know where I could get these? This will help save my carpets.

I ordered them with my 206, I believe the dealer refers to them as carpet runners.

Looks like a great idea for those of us with the older boats with matted down carpet.

They should make one to cover the ugly gas tank cover when the rear seat is removed. Making it snap in would be nice.

I read this post and called my dealer for info. She said that I would be able to get some for my 98' 196. She would order them with a new boat and sell them to me. They are a great idea, my carpet is in good shape, it takes alot to keep it that way.

I want your boat. Man, that is a really nice piece of equipment. But, my old girl will just have to get me by for a few more years.
Do you know if I could get some custom mats like that for my old boat?

Where did you get those floor mats? They are awesome! I have an 04 206. What did you pay for those?
Thanks,

Unavailable.
Tried Mid-West and I was told that they are out of stock and the people that were making them are no longer doing so.
If anybody has a set or knows of another source please let me know (gray carpet 196)

Has anyone purchased these recently? If still available how much and where from? I'm thinking of them for my 206.

At the Cleveland Boat Show I saw the new MC 197 TT had floor mats...these would be a nice addition to any CC boat that didn't have snap out carpet.

How was the Cleveland Boat Show? I usually try to go, but don't think I'll make it this year? What did VanDevere have there?

Very nice...spent all my time at VanDevere and Boathouse Marine.
VanDevere had a whole lineup of 211's and 220's...(1) 196 and (1) 206. A bunch of Bu's as well...the famouse 'Corvette'...I found the LX to be intriguing.

Got mine as an option with boat at Pacific Nautiques in Algona WA outside Seattle. Try them. Really like the carpet, take out and clean once and a while, keeps boat carpet looking like new.
Quinner, how do you like the ski racks on the side like that, have thought about adding those but the dealer says they just get in the way and not to bother. What's your input or anyone else's who has them on a 196??
Thanks
Quinner

First off there's nothing like a good Rack!
Not sure I would agree they just get in the way, like anything else they have their + & - 's, mine are in my 206.
Will hold ski's firm, knee-boards and WB will also fit only on the top usually. I think the dealer/factory may have eliminated the cargo net when installing, had I known would have asked them to keep it in place if possible.
Currently ski RTP 68&69, if you ski double boots check fit for exact placement, the 69 is tight, the 196 may have more room than the 206.
They are removable with a couple thumbscrews
If my jump seat is behind the helm seat, can't really use the racks, same holds true if my larger cooler is there.
It probably really depends on how you use the space behind the drivers seat, in my case that's were my ski would be anyways so having it on the rack as apposed to the floor works out well.
I would definitely order them again.

You are correct about a nice rack! Thanks for the info on these, have considered them for a while but have hesitated due to the input from the dealer and not talked to anyone who actually had them. I ski 66" double boot and only use that area on the floor for the ski. I'm terribly allergic to "wakeboarding" and can't even bring myself to own one so not a problem there. I am now going to order a set.

I Googled the phone number and came up with a company called R&R Textiles that manufacturers a product line called Aqua Mats. http://www.rrtextiles.com/marine/index.html.
They sell their product through a company called Corinthian Marine Carpet http://corinthianmarine.com/carpet/custom.php.
Makes me think of the "Genuine Corinthian Leather" commercials for the Chrysler Cordoba with Ricardo Montalban in the 70's (for those of you old enough to remember).

I talked to Damion at Corinthian yesterday. Here's the scoop. You have to send them a template pattern, pick a color and any other options like embroidering, then they'll give you a price based on amount of carpet needed, yada yada. They dot NOT have any templates for ANY inboards at all. What a pain. But, you can get them. The # is 866-785-6570 ext 500.
Quinner, it was a pleasure talking with you my friend!
Regards to ALL!!!

Grant,
Sorry, I have No idea, when I ordered the boat we pretty much just discussed bottom line, best answer I could give you is I paid 40 something thousand for them and they threw in the boat with the deal.
Mike,
Great talking with you as well! I am a bit surprised they have no patterns or templates on any of the Nautiques as it appears they made more than just a couple?

So before I go out to the garage and start guessing at templates for my SN, does any one know a place where we can go to get a template on the web.
Jeff any ideas?
Seems to me that this issue has been comming up over and over again and I for one would love floor mats in the boat and I am sure many others would love them as well. Every lead from this forum turns out to be a dead end unless you buy new floor mats and they throw in the 40k boat.
I asked every dealer in town if they had some sort of floor mat supplier or knew where I could go to possibly investigate on my own and they all looked at me like I was on crack!
Has anybody had any luck locating floor mats for a 196?
I need two sets, one for our club boat and one for mine.

J2nh,
They are not a CC item however the Mfr's phone number is on my carpet runners, posted it on a thread not too long ago. Watercraft Sales still had a couple sets in stock not that long ago also, SNMike picked up one set from them. If you cannot find the thread drop me a PM and I will get you the number.
Was it you that ordered an 09' w/the 409? Drove and skied behind the CCfan boat with the 409 on Lake George last weekend, very nice.

Thanks, as a matter of coincidence I am going to see the guys from WaterCraft tomorrow, will find out if they have any left.
Yup, ordered a 196 with the 409 but I passed on the Cat option. With luck it will be here before the end of October.

I just saw an 09 196 Promo boat in California that has drop in floor mats. I am wondering whether those came from CC directly or if WCCC is having em made.
