Good Ol' Obexers as I recall.......were you maybe takin a few runs down Homewood BKH? 16 days of snow straight.....on the bright side at least Tahoe will have plenty more water this year! :)

Yes, Larson's at Homewood Marina. Weren't many turns to take that day. Knee deep powder, and no powder skis. Pretty much just bombed down through it. Only got five days of skiing in this year, but picked the right 5 days. As you said skiswm, powder everyday. BKH
Captain Keith at Homewood High and Dry. He doesn't keep alot of inventory but if you look at the Nautique brochures for the last couple of years you'll see he usually gets the new boats first for photo shoots.

I was just kidding! My Wife and I grew up on South Shore and have been to that shop many times. Shots of Homewood bring back many good memories! I guess I am relagated to tourist status now as we only make it up a few times a year. BTW, we will be up in July for two weeks based out of the Keys if anyone will be up at the same time could be fun to hook up maybe go for Rum Runners at Camp Rich!
Best,

Can't wait to make it back to Tahoe; it's been twenty years since being there and competing in a skateboarding vert halp-pipe contest that was dubbed "Terror in Tahoe." Who was there and saw the punk kids from The City throw a burlap bag full of dead cats during the swag toss?
"Skate and destroy" beats "Skate and Create" any day.

wow, was in tahoe 3 years ago in April and didn't see that much snow. Anybody been to to that little mexican place in Truckee? Best fish tacos I have ever had. I know "fish taco" doesn't sound right, but they were great.

Fish Tacos in Truckee, would it have been El Toro Bravo, the little taco stand next to the RR Tracks,? Or could even be Alaskan Fish company over in incline (income) village NV. But, for any "semi" local...the only place to eat in Inlcine has to be T's.....best food around!
BkH, i am hopefully headed to the snow next week....a few days of work a few days of playtime. Always a nice mix goin on about 15 days this year, best for me in years!

Jvuotto, Might be that Mexican restaurant next to the Truckee Hotel, 1 block from Bar of America. Pretty
good food there.
Rhode, Can't say as though I ever saw the dead cat tossing, but I have been in Tahoe City for the Canine Keg pulls at Naughty Dog.
Skiswm, I'm envious. Don't think we'll make it back to Tahoe this year, but we are going to try to get
up to Bear Valley this Sunday. Have a great time up there. BKH

we have about six mexican restaurants. Fish tacos sounds like Los Altos. Watch out for that Nautique dealership, I had a bad experience with good ol' Capt. Kirby.

Never heard of "Homewood Marina", are they new to CC? Do they carry other brands? ER

Homewood Marina has been there for years. They have dry stacks, launch, repair, etc.
It's directly across the street from the Homewood Ski area.
Not sure, but I believe Larson (Stockton and Sacramento) rents space there and has
1 sales guy who sells CCs through the summer months. BKh

South Shore is what I miss about the left coast the most.......not a fan of cold water, therefore, I wouldn't go back for the waterskiing, but a mountian cabin in South Tahoe would be the ticket.
