Hey Eric,
What has been the word on the 211? People buying them or hating them? If you can, post some pics of your booths. Would love to see your setup.

Yeah... I've never seen one booth that has Nautiques, Malibus, Mastercrafts, Tiges, etc... Must be quite a site!

Eric has some pictures of his booth on his website. Click Here (http://www.midohionautiques.com/index2.htm) and scroll down to the Cleveland Boat Show link.

skinautique ---> I'm sorry that I miised your original post. I must be to caught up in all the excitement of the boat shows. We have one in Columbus right after Cleveland. To answer your question I would say that the 211 will be good for us. We have seen a bunch of interest in this boat but many want to demo it before they shell out the money...can't say that I can blame them. The hard part is that we still have over 10 inches of ice to deal with. Our biggest seller is the 196 so far with 16 sold units. I will say that the 211 will be our second best seller or maybe the 206. I will let you know in about 6 months. LOL

Kind of surprised to hear that the 196 is out selling the 210! Good Luck.

Yeah...that is not the norm around the country. We dont sell more than 2 Supers a year. Hard to figure out. They better not stop making the 196 or we would be out of business. We have dealers that are less than 3 hours away that cant give the 196 away.

Wow... I never would have expected the 196 to be the top seller these days. I could understand that happening back 5-7 years ago, but now I would think the 206 and 210 would be on top.

I agree with everyone. Our local dealer has sold 3 already and is getting a fourth when he was only supposed to have two total to begin with. And all of those that hes sold have been "non-testdrive-buyers." I think it will be good for him. He is on a huge lake with a lot of people comming from I/Os, so it should be a good seller for him.

Eric, I don't know your area at all. Are there any big lakes there? I find that the 210s are selling to the customers who are either extreme pro wakeboarders, or families that do a little bit of everything that want a vdrive. Maybe those type of buyers will be leaning toward the 211 now.

However, I also would expect the gap between your sales in 196s and 210s to be a lot less... Your gray and black 210 is beautiful! :D I'm sure i've told you that before.

There wasn't even a 196 at the Chicago boat show and you're selling out of them....What a difference 3 states can make. Glad to hear the 196 is still selling.

Glad to hear the 196 is still selling.

Yeah i was sure that the 206 would have wiped the 196 out of the question for most customers.

When i am ready to buy, it'll be a 196 or whatever they are calling the closed bow at the time...if there is one.

I know there are a lot of "untapped" lakes in Ohio that have length limits, and I think many have a 20' restriction which keeps out the popular 21' size. It would be interesting to know if that might be a driving factor in the local popularity of the 196.

I made the 3 hr drive to the Indianapolis Boat Show last weekend, and was dissapointed in the CC Booth. It looked like a last second, thrown together mess. The only had 3-4 boats on top of it. The local Mlaibu Dealer made them look bad IMO. The MC booth and the Skiers Choice booth had alot more on display. I think the Indy CC Dealer must be hurting, not even interested in trading it seemed to my friend that is in the market for a new 3 event boat. The Malibu booth had a beautiful RLXI in some kind of "Wineberry" color, I think they called it "Sangria" or something. I liked the new 211, but looked small compared to the 21 VLX there.
