Does anyone know why Correct Craft decided to move away from true wrap-around seating? This is a picture of a '97 Nautique Super Sport, and I really like the seating configuration. The pylon looks pretty stupid where it is, but that was moved for the next model year. The interior floorspace is pretty limited. I guess that might be why they stopped offering this design. I like it though, and wish they offered it now.
Jeff,
I've got a 2000 Super Air with the same wrap-around as the picture of the '97. You could also get just a back bench in the 2000. I believe 2001 was the last year of the true wrap. If I'm wrong, then it's definetly 2000.

I have an 03' and I got smart and built a "fun box" which is a sub box which houses 2 10" subs and 4 cup holders. Carpeted with the same carpeting and I purchased a "cooler" seat cushion from CC so, now I have wrap around seating with 2 10" subs which nobody really notices unless I point it out.
Took up a little of the storage, ie ability to drop in a cooler but, I like the extra seating.

Chris,
I was considering doing something similar. The cooler seat cushion seems to be almost exactly the right size. Do you remember how much the cooler seat cushion costs if ordered through a dealer?
Do you have any pictures of your setup?

The dimensions are exact. The cooler cushing fits as you can see in the pics.
I don't know about pricing, I work at West Coast Correct Craft and I got the cushion at employee cost.

That is exactly what I had in mind! Well, I didn't think about the subs...
That looks outstanding. I might just have to give that a shot. Thanks for posting the pics.

Do you happen to have the dimensions of the box? My boat is in rack storage, and I won't have access to it until April 1. I would really like to start building something like this, but I have no way of measuring until spring. Also, where did you get the carpet?

I'll back Chris up. His seat is beautiful. Some of the Correct Craft Executives did double takes at the owners reunion because it looked too factory installed.

I didn't note any dimensions while I was building it. I just took each measurement and went for it. I must add that the space between the seat and the side wall is exact and consequently, I don't loose stuff between the seat and the wall. About the only angle that is off slightly is the seat back angle but, I think I can live with it.
Fixer-0-stuff- thanks for the props.

We just run our spare " love seat extention" in the area behind the driver

Do you mind if I ask what you paid at Cost for the seat? It is obviously
done with Nautique Pride. Nice Work
The box is around $250 retail and the seat is also around $250.

I did the same thing as wakejunky and paid like $400 from my dealer for the seat alone. Make sure you order direct from CC because some dealers are snakes. Or at least mine is. The invoice price to my dealer was like $270 but they raped me for $400. Oh yeah and expect to wait 2 months to get it in. Mine was for a 02' SAN.
I do the same thing Monkey does, we put the spare extension behind the driver. Fits perfectly and it is usually the seat everyone wants.
