I'm looking to buy a TSC 1 SN. I'm staying in the 97-99 range because I don't want the digital gauges. I had one on the line but the deal fell through because of the seller. Ideally the boat must have the following:

-1997-99
-Less than 400 hours on original hour meter.
-GT40 EFI powerplant in great running condition with good compression and no history of major work
-No major interior/exterior flaws
-Must be within 350miles of the greater Chicagoland/Metro area

I don't want to pay for delivery or brokers. I want all the money to go into the boat.

Please PM me if you hear anything!

M3Fan, I wish I would have seen your 90 SN for sale. My brother is looking for one.

You might want to PM JJ in the Kansas City area. He might know of someone in your neck of the woods. I don't think he visits this web page too often.

Thanks Hollywood. That's one of the first boats I looked at. It is actually located at Miami Nautiques and is brokered by the CentralKY inboards guy. Just too many hours on the boat to deal with transportation and brokerage fees. Keep lookin! Thanks.

Look what's for sale again. Looks like the seller has a new username too.

That looks like a sweet boat (please don't get anything with teal or purple!) although I'm not too trusty of the seller when they are talking about the transmission in the description...Don't be so lazy and use some B.S. description for every vehicle!

Wow! Talk about ahead of their time...I though MB Sports was first with a multi-speed transmission that required shifting!!! What a boob.

Yeah, um.. for what it's worth, just talk to the seller to find out the facts about that boat before you buy it (the ebay one). Let's leave it at that.

I suppose I jump the gun all the time and think that dealers would rip-off their own mothers, which probably isn't always the case.

SGY-

I appreciate it. I should have mentioned I search the following sites very regularly:
Ebay
Boattraderonline
iBoats
UsaWaterski
Ski It Again
Flipsell
MalibuCrew
PN
Nicholls

Kinda trolling for an inside sale here. Somebody knows somebody who knows somebody who found out they have 3 children they didn't know about, is paying alimony, and just got divorced and is moving to Tahiti so they need to sell... etc..

Try putting a wanted message up on showskiers.com
Most of the people that post are showski club members in WI, IL, MI or MN. Somebody might know somebody who.....
Good luck. I had a 99 CB with the GT-40. Great boat.

Yeah, sure "glad" that they made sure to include the fact that a tournament inboard INCLUDES a ski pylon on that e-bay SN. Yep, my '99 SN has a real smooth shifting transmission too, couldn't be smoother from not-in-gear to in-gear...

There is an ad for an 05 out there that also has a hilarious description. I laughed out loud at that one. Whew...

Which one? The 196 listed as a 206, or the actual 206 demo I'm guessing. The mileage is correct with no collision damage evident and has that "new vehicle smell". "Bid high on this vehicle"!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.craigslist.org/sby/boa/115980317.html

750 hrs, owned for 2 years by a ski club, but only $24K with a nice tandem
trailer. From the picture it looks nice.

You know, I just took another look at that craigslist post, and something look
fishy there. Too many errors in the post. Probably another one of those scams.
Oh well.

Here is a response I got from one of those scams

"Hello,

The phone number +6285261969603, coz the located in Bali Island, email me back if you interest . many Thank's.

Regards"

I opted not to pursue that boat, however I did buy my Nautique from an add on Craig’s list and could not be happier with the purchase.

Good luck with the search !
