Here is my new toy!
I know you are more into the wakeboard scene, but have you skied behind the 206 yet? How do you like it?
By the way, I love the colors. Looks awesome.
Enjoy,
Steve

The red and black are still classic colors. Gotta love it!! By the way SGY, you will love the skiing wakes behind it. They are phenomonal.

Agreed. Looks great.
The color-matched tower adds to the overall good looks as well.

I know, I know. I'm sure I'll love it. But in the meantime, its called "post purchase second thoughts reduction". And, its cold here. I can't ski behind anything right now.
I'm real curious to see if anyone has compared the 206 to the Bu RLXI. I hear the Response is amazing to ski behind.
Has anyone read the Waterski Mag 2004 boat reviews. I looked at the videos that are on line. The review of the wakes for the 206 was "outstanding". However, Waterski mag video called the RLXI "world class". A difference, maybe not. But it seemed as though in the video Watersk Mag carried on a bit more about the Bu.

No need to second guess your purchase. I have skied both boats extensively. The 206 has a much softer wake and is much smoother. If you look at the 206 wake, it is ugly in shape. The thing to remember is that it is white which means that it is air and that translates to a softer wake. The RLXI looks very nice and has a clean appearance but it is kind of like a pimple. There is a bump there and it hurts!! When you have a wake like most of the competitors do, it is hard to soften it up. I hope this makes sense to you. Also, the tracking is better on the 206. If you ski deeper shortline or pull skiers into deeper shortline, you will feel a difference. Also, I still feel that the PCM offers better holeshot over the others out there. Look at the test times to 36 mph and how long it took the boats to get there. They are on those video reviews and it is pretty impressive. As far as the rest of those adds, they are junk. The resale will be better for you on your CC over the Malibu as well. You have nothing to worry about!!!!! Think Spring!!
Thanks for the encouragement. It helps for sure. I've never skied behind or driven/ridden in a Malibu--so they're kind of a mystery to me. Nonetheless, I'll keep sponging up as much information as I can get my hands on.
Now that Christmas is over, spring is just a short few months away. I can't wait to get the boat in the water and start skiing. My family is very excited as well.
Thanks again for the information.
Steve.

I can't agree more with the last post. You can't go wrong with the 206. I have skied it and the wake is very soft and smooth. When driving the boat seems to ride right on top the water and tracks great. I get more looks and positive comments on the 206. Most boat owners 'If they will admit it' wish they owned a CC. All my friends have Malibu's and they can't find anything bad to say about the 206.
Thanks for all your responses!
