So have they actually done anything? That article was from 2000, and it said construction should start in 24 months.

Tryan, how does your natique run in the pigeon river? Just saw your location, I am from the area myself.

I am not sure if they started yet. Last I heard they were on hold but I could be wrong and that is why I am asking.

i used to keep one boat on santeetla and one at home to run on douglas. now all three winter in knoxville.

i would like to hook up with the endoftheropegang members next summer sometime. lake lure would be close.

i have to finish the starflite and start on the torino among other wintertime projects.

the pigeon river has cleaned up, but it is still quite toxic from champion paper. they make the fiberboard for the milk cartons at mcdonalds. the coffee color is gone, but any cut or scrape will dry out and heal quickly after you have been in the pigeon.

They are waiting on a new road to be built back to the site. It is 18 - 24 months off yet.
