Well...here in Ohio I plan on trying to Sky Ski on Christmas day. My 6 year old boy said if I do that he will take a pull on his wakeboard. Always trying to out do the oldman. HAHA Me and the kids will also be working on my Sprint Car over the holidays.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

my boys and i are going to start on the 66 volkswagen notchback over the xmas break. we should get it stripped down and replace the floor before school resumes.
we put the grady-white in to burn up the rest of the fuel on wed. the accutrak on my buddys suburban just could not pull the trailer up over the lip on the busted slab on the ramp. the power stroke showed her true colors by pulling him out even with my nautique still hooked to the back of my truck.
the torino will see the water one more time before she is put up. maybe it's just me, but they run faster when the weather turns cold.
there is a lot of buried treasure when the lakes are down.

Cool! Let's see some pics of that V-Dub.
This was my first car. I got it back in 1992
and still have it (probably always will).
It's a '67. My uncle and I did the restoration
ourselves, and I think it turned out pretty well.

sweet looking 67. early or late production? i work on a '68 vert from time to time, but the girl won't maintain it. she just calls me when it breaks down.
i stored the type III since 81 and bought a 64 euro to start on the restoration. i hope to undo some of the modifications i did 20 years ago and bring the car back to original condition. parts are getting scarce. i'll post some BEFORE shots.

yeah i took mine out last sat. :D it ran great i had pegged both speedos and it was turning 5k.for just a minute then brought it back to 4400 unfortunatly it was too long. when i got to the wake zone it was knocking. i cracked a piston or bent a rod. so i will be pulling the motor over christmas :cry: i was gonna get all of you something but now i cant :wink: but yall can still get me stuff if you want {hint 351 longblock hint}

you can ski /snowboard in new mexico!!!! we drive to red river-15hr and ruidoso-12hrs drive. its the closest place to snowboard from houston. snowboarding is badass! no snow park or half pipe in n.m. yet. you wont be looking for that on your first trip.

NautiqueJeff is being awesome and is really helping me work with web sites and stuff. My mom and sister just got a dog so we wont be going anywhere for this break, but maybe VT for a couple days. Get some skiing in. The snow type...lol... I hope to get a web site up and running with my spare time, thanks to Jeff.

The boat was a blast to drive but unfortunately it wasn't mine. Wouldn't want to pay the gas bills either.
Have a great holiday everyone!!!!!!!

882001, we are actually planning to go snowboarding. Jake lives in albequerque, and he told me the place we are going, but i can't remember it. He has not been since he moved from georgia, so it will be a first to be on snow out west for both of us...dumb question...do they have fake snow out there along with the real snow??
Everyone have a good and safe holiday season :D

nope, no snow :( it was still a blast, that place is so different that the east coast. i could really get into the style hockey they play, 8 fights in one game  The only real problem I had with albequerque is there are no lakes close by, but the trip was a good experience overall 8)

I'm leaving for St. Croix on Christmas day and returning on New Year's Day. I'm just going to relax and do some snorkeling. Maybe I'll even try scuba diving!

If it ever gets to snowing around here in Minnesota, we'll be snowmobiling and ice fishing over the holidays. Right now it's way too cold to waterski, but way too warm (and no snow) for the wintersports. I need the diversion. After 2 Yrs of looking, we finally put our money down on a 2005 SV 211. Nobody warned me that buying a boat late in the fall makes for a long, slow winter. Thank goodness I found this website. The rest of my family is getting tired of talking to me about a purchase we cannot touch until spring. Now if I can just get over the hump of winter solstice...
Happy Holidays Everyone!

Mark-S, we purchashed our boat from Son Watersports. They've been great to deal with, never pressuring us into buying. We rode one of their boats on an on-the-water boat show, sat in a 211 at the MN state fair and went for a test drive. They've earned this sale! So the boat is in production now and we can't wait until spring.
