This is very vague and probably won't happen, but may... This popped up in my mind for a milisecond and thought it was worth mentioning.
Anyone ever considered a Planet Nautique Reunion during the summer??? And what are your oppinons on one???
Just wondering...

I think that's a great idea, and I'd be all about it.
There have been a few threads on this, and a few different locations have been discussed.
Here's one:

I've got a couple of great places for a reunion in mind, but I would expect them to be very inconvienent for many. A couple is this one place I stay at in Maine every year on a lake that was rated Third most beautiful lake in the world! by National Geographic...No joke!
And another is at a nice, large, but not too large, lake in CT at a CC dealer that is a really, really nice club also! Candlewood East Marina. (I've probably already mentioned that before...)
But again, I would think that would be inconvienent for many....

We're going to go with a Midwest style reunion next summer. Even if it's just me and 1 other member, that still counts! If anyone has lakes in mind big enough for wakeboarding and has a slalom course, I think that'd be the best. Got plenty of snow to melt before any of this will happen!

Hollywood...when and where is that? I know of Flight Worlds and some INT places and other big ones....
Again...I know some great lakes, but they will prob be inconvienet...The one in ME would be great if it was more convienent!
So what are the details?

Here is an idea for a reunion of Correct Craft owners and PlanetNautique members too. We are going to be working on having the reunion at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio in 2004. Any thoughts about this venue. I thought it might be great to combine the two events. It may not be the best place to actually use your boats but the bay on days with little wind can be great. ?????

I dont know much about these places...i mean the details..but where would your ideal place be to have it... consider:
1. How big and deep the lake is
2. Is it good for many, many boats to be on and many, many people to be skiing at one time
3. How close or far away it is to YOU
4. Would the place your holding it at be "Nautique Friendly" and be fine with having such a large crowd
5. Is the place you are holding it at something suatable...kinda like #4...
6. Etc...

Does Cedar Point still have the Magnum XL 2000 ride? I was too short to go on it last time I was there. Something like a 85 degree angle drop... I'm not trying to be a mooch, but I want to pull other's and ride behind some other boats too for a change. Ohio sounds like a decent location. Maybe too far for Luke?

Hollywood....yes it is still there and some even better ones now.

It looks like we are going to be holding the Correct Craft Owner Reunion at the park in 2004. We are still working out the details and will let you know when the dates would be.
I wouldn’t worry about me too much Hollywood, you guys could always have it without me and just post lots of pictures!
That’s quite a trip for me especially if I’m pulling my boat. (Can’t really imagine going on any vacation without it!) Looks like it’s about 600 miles from DM to Sandusky. That would probably be about a 9-10 hour trip one way. Still might be able to swing it, I would just need more specific dates. (Currently I have trips planned in July to Table Rock and northern Minnesota.)
Just let us know the dates when you have it figured out Eric.

Ah, c'mon Luke... I went up there to buy my boat, and it is about 8.5 hours each way for me. I pulled my old boat up, and the new boat back. Eric's (Mid-Ohio Nautiques) is only a few minutes from the park, too. Should be a fun time. Not sure if I'll be able to go or not. We have lots of stuff planned for this summer already.
I'm certainly not opposed to it. If the dates work in my schedule I'll certainly try to make it over there. Who needs to work during the summer anyway. :)

Where in Ohio is the 2004 CC Owner Reunion? And when is it? Because if all goes as planned, we should be picking up our new boat there and where better place to pick it up than at a CC Reunion?! We should be picking up there in April at the latest...so that may be a little early for a Reunion... but ya never know...
I also agree with whoever said it that they wanna ride behind some other boats for a change... I would think that would be nice and fun also...

We are looking at about the 2nd or 3rd week of June. We are going to have all of the 2004 models in the water to demo. I'm sure that many other may have there boats in the water also. I will keep this site updated as we work with Correct Craft and Cedar Point.

Are you doing this more with Correct Craft and its other dealers in the area like the old sea world ones were or is this more of "your show"

Yes...This will done with Correct Craft but we are going to add a few new twists to it. We are thinking of making it a two day affair. The first day will be open for everyone and the second will be for owners only. Going to work many suppliers and HO-Hyperlite to make it very special. Trying to also come up with some idea ob how to have a contest to give away a boat. Still working on that right now. I'm open for any ideas or anyone that would like to help out. It would be very cool to have a PlanetNautique reunion the same time.

Thats a heck of a prize! Now...is that a full size Nautique...or the little silver and orange remote control Nautiques for XMas? Theres a big difference there. Someone could spend thousands of dollers on that raffle. If if someone spend $10,000 on tickets and won, that would still be a **** of a deal. But the chance of that is very low... I know...But still...thats a **** of a prize.
When I went to the Florida Fly-In by skyski, in the raffle we had there, i won a couple things, and the grand prize was a new skyski. And i won the thing that was raffled of before it. So if there was one less thing raffled off...that skyski would have been mine...Just goes to show how close you really can be...

Yes full size....Thought that I could get an insurance policy on it like they do with cars and golf tournaments. You could win a car if you get a hole in one.....something like that. It will be a long shot....but??

Yes it will be at the reunion. Ours should be here by the first week of January. We have been told that we will have it for the Cleveland boat show January 16th. It is a very cool boat and drives great.
Hey Luke--
Saw you were planning a trip to Table Rock. My fam goes down there once a year for a week. When were you planning on going? Where do you stay? It'd be a great time if we worked out to be there at the same time. Love that lake!!!
We'll be there July 25-31. We will be staying at The Crest Lodge. PM me if you are going to be around then and want to set something up.

Hey Eric-
Any update on the dates yet? My vote is for the 2nd week (6/12 and 6/13).

Jeff, That is the date that we are going to ask for. Cedar Point will determine what dates will work for the reunion. They are very excited about this and appear to be very flexible so far. I will get you an update very soon.

i found it odd that more boats have showed at the ohio reunions ( 100-140) than the 80 or so that showed in florida.

The Midwest Correct Craft Owners Reunion will be at Cedar Point Amusement Park in 2004. The date is Saturday June 19th. We hope to make this even bigger and better than before. Ralph Meloon, Greg Meloon and myself meet with officials of the park on Monday. This site is gonna be great and the whole family will have a good time. I will see to it that Jeff gets a copy of the entry form just as soon as it is printed. Sorry about the date Jeff.. ..didnt have much of a choice.
