Just got our new baby a couple weeks ago...thank God for drysuits...and we're still riding (its cold in Kansas).

Thanks for all the compliments. We love this boat! jayman1, the tower is titanium grey...same as the accent striping and tubing (interior). Can't wait for some warmer weather!

Great color combo. What type of board racks are those? They look like the ones in the 04 catalog that CC is not supplying with the 04 boats. It kind of pissed me off as I ordered a 04 SAN and could not get them with the racks in the catalog.

You don't want the Nvert racks. They looked cool but they are/were really junk.

Don't really know the answer to this yet. So far, we've been really happy with them. Very easy to use, and they hold our boards solid even at full speed--no rattles. We really like not having the bungees, but like I said, we will see how they LAST. I think the only way to really know if they are/were junk is to use them a bunch and see how they do. When/if we have any problems, I'll for sure post something and share our experience...until then, they've made us happy.

I also heard the Nvert racks were junk. You'll know when they crumble and fall off the tower, literally. Might as well use them until then though.

I have the racks on my 206 and they work very well...no rattling or movement of the boards and racks. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone at the company!
