Has anyone added one of these? My boat doesn't have one, and we would be interested in adding one if it isn't too complicated or expensive. Does the entire seat have to go, or can just the bottom portion be replaced? Anyone know the cost?

It's a 121.00 option on a new boat, I just ordered a new 206 with that option!! I would assume it's just a add on to the original seat with it
costing so little!!

thats pretty nice and looks well worth 120 bucks.

i am either to tall or to short, because eye level is right at the windsheild frame. i will turn into a big 6'2" hemeroid if i keep on squating in the seat.

sitting on a type IV pfd seems to work okay.

The flip up seat is really neat. . .

Jeff: I am not sure what year your Super Air is. . . if it is a 2003 you are all set. If a 2002 you might want to think twice. Reason being is that the flip up bolster fastens onto the seat base. For 2002 the seat base was a solid piece (no inserts) and therefore it makes adding the flip up difficult. For 2003 all seats have the inserts (even those with out the flip up factory ordered). Therefore, you can always add this later.

Hope the above helps -

Brian

Thanks for the info everybody. Mine is a 2003, so it sounds like I should be able to easily convert it into a flip-up. My wife is especially happy to hear that this can be done.

I would think that you would need to get a new seet unofortunately...I actaully dont think i've seen a good pic of a new nautique without it...but our friends have a MC without it and the seatis one large cussion. Now with the flip up, it is basically two small cushions with two pieces of plastic to make one flip on top of the other...i'm assuming that the Nautiques without it are also one cusion. However if it is two...i guess it would be easy to install it...
I currently use a type IV floating thing on our friends MC for the same reason above and i not only think it doesn't help that much ...(partially because the bows on MC's rise so much anyway...) but the flip up drivers seat on the 216 we testdrove is like night and day difference...It really helps....
