Just checking to see if anyone plans on going to Marine World for this event on 9-10-05. I just got the info in the mail today. If so is anyone bringing their boat for the show?

Hey Mike,
Hows that SAN 210 doing ?
Funny, I was just printing out the Vallejo Registration Form so I can send my check to West Coast Correct Craft, then I saw your post. I am attending definitely, with family and friends, however, Im not bringing my boat with me. I just want to relax and enjoy and checkout other boats...maybe the Super 220 will be there then. Also, will be checking out the "Pimped out" boats ........ Maybe Grant will have real competition now in the Audio / Stereo category ? And of course, looking forward to meet all fellow Nautique owners.
Should be a lot of fun. See you there !

Yea it will be great to see you there also Joe. Like you I'm looking forward to meeting other Nautique owners. I don't think I'm going to register my boat either... like you, I just want to go relax, have fun and check out all the other boats. But who know's.
Jeff I'll definatly take a lot of pictures!

I will be there, most likely without my boat unless somebody convinces me otherwise. I know Grant will beat me in the stereo class, I know my motor is not the cleanest, I am not that excited about exposing my boat to terrorists in Vallejo... But if somebody wants to see something that I have talked about I might be easily convinced.

Right on glad you'll be able to make it Mike! Even though I know I won't win anything I was thinking about entering my boat just for the **** of it to get some more boats out there. It'll be tight if Grant can bring his. You should bring yours Mike so we can get a group of us there representing PN.

It'll be tough to drag the boat along, I'll already have in-laws in tow...

we have our confirmations.I was thinking of bringing my boat and entering it into the stereo contest, that is until I saw the link to Grant's latest project with 45 batteries, 65 loud speakers, 15 Clark transducers, and a panel of alternators, that convert your SAN into a Airboat. I think I will keep the boat at home and bank the fuel surcharge.

Mike,
Take your boat. Last time I went they had a bunch of swag they were giving away to all the people who broght their boats. There was a special raffle for all of those individuals. They were giving away a lot of good stuff too: Spare tire, board bindings setup, free service, prop, etc.. They had more raffle prizes than they had boats there so nobody went home empty handed.

It would be interesting to see how fast my stereo would kill my poor little single battery. I typically never run the stereo without the boat running. Maybe we could take bets until it stops playing or until an amp cooks?
Any wagers?
30 minutes, 1 hour, ...

The wife and I, as well as one of nautique neighbors are planning to go, but
we weren't planning to bring the boat. Feeling a little lazy and don't want to
detail it ;>)

I think I may go up and bring the boat. Waiting to see if my g/f would rather go to Marine World or head to Berryessa after stopping.
How many others were still planning on bringing their boats??

Just got back from the Vallejo Reunion. A really nice day.
I'd say about 30-35 boats. Mostly newer boats, but there were a 63 and 67 Barracuda, a 66 American Skier, and a couple of 70s vintage Ski Nautiques.
There was a raffle prize for everyone who brought a boat, and about 10 left over for those who didn't. Nice prizes - tower bimini, spare tire kit, wakeboards, waterskis, vests, gift certificates, etc.
Also, West Coast Correct Craft had a lot of really nice CC swag for
sale. Polo Shirts, Button Down Shirts, Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Caps,
and Towels.
CC had one of every model, INCLUDING THE 220, in the water for
demo rides.
At $7 bucks for a hat, day of admission to the amusement park, barbecue,
raffle prizes, water demos, and some great conversations, that's about the
best deal I've had in a long time. Highly recommend those of you who couldn't make it try to get out next year.

Definately a great day, thanks CC.
The unveiling of the 220 was definately a big moment for the CC factory team. Really nice boat, even in prototype form.
Looks like the success of the hydrogate on the 211 is being spread to almost all the boats in the 2006 lineup. Strangely the 216 is not getting the gate?
No significant changes from PCM, drive by wire and the new tranny but that's about it. I feel there is a demand for high torque stroker motor that could be satisfied by a unit based on the GM Performance 383. Maybe even a 502 for the 220 and 226.
The new spinner racks by Titan seem nice but they will not be offered to all boats in the line-up. There was also a 210 with a prototype Titan tower, they are collecting feedback from the dealers on this boat. Being familiar with the Titan III on my buddies I see this as a great option. I really liked the look of the polished stainless steel tower on the 210. This rack is really easy to fold with only one person, and it folds very low.
I took almost 100 pictures with my new camera so it will take me a day or so to go through them, I will post pix later.

Had a great time ..... met lotsa people and went for a spin on the new SuperAir 220 as well as the SV-211.
Brought my boat ... mine was the 2003 Air Nautique 206 Limited ,,, the only one without speakers on the tower (I keep putting them on my birthday and Christmas list ... guess I gotta be GOODER !!!).
Anxious to see the pictures at the website.
I went to the Reunion a couple of years ago .... definitely a bigger turn-out this year ... more boats and lotsa more people ... I LOVE IT !!!

I was up there too and pulled my boat along.
Not a bad deal since we pulled in a $100 gift certificate off the raffle. Now to buy some goodies!!
We got 2nd for our years boat. 82-89.
Henry Munoz pulled in Best Stereo.
Rob got Best of show, with his 03 Air complete with 20" plasma, xbox, fog machine, laser lights, tower box, 2 6" monitors, 2-12" subs, strobe lights, and a bunch of other little goodies!!
I got some pics too!

I was there, with the family and we had a blast. 28 bucks for 4 people, we scored a gift cert for dinner and a night stay in tahoe, and a gift cert from PCM for a tuneup kit, a day at the park, and a bbq, plus got to ride the 220, 211, and the ski boat. Loved the ski boat. Gave my feedback on the titan tower, sorry Mike I gave it the thumbs down, the lines on the tower look funny on the 210, SS was nice , but not bling enough for someone putting down the money on a 210. Hopefully CC isn't trying to make things cheaper.
The 220 is real nice in person, I give it a solid thumbs up, and the 211 with the ZR6 was real nice.
oh, I got a trophy.... wasn't expecting that .
I missed the best of show boat, Danm! I heard it was awsome!
props to all who attended , it was a great day!
most of all I loved talking with all the other CC owners, great bunch of folks.

Nice pics. How about the Ralph Maloon Sr. signature vintage Nautique? All the owner boats were great! The son and I had a great time in Vallejo. The new boats look nice. I was particularly interested in the new 196. Son is a wakeboard dude and had no interest in the slalom boat. Later, during the demos, I found a ski show driver to demo the new 196 to us. The launch is especially strong, and the hull comes up on plane flat. The best part though was the wake. Like all SN's, the wake at 36 mph is legendary, but the new one is even better. Looking back, when the gate is engaged, the wake goes away. No ripples outside of the prop wash. Looking forward at gate engagement, there is a noticeable drop of the bow proving that the gate does lift the stern. It is amazing. Even Mr. Wakeboard was impressed, and so was I. Nice to see CC continuing to refine a proven champion. We also liked the other new models, and had a great ride in the ZR6 powered 211 from Howie at Hammer's. We, along with another 211 owner and son were amazed at how fast the ZR6 is. It showed 50 mph on the Perfect Pass at 5,000 rpm. A little noisier than ours, but nice just the same.
The dinner was good, and the time we all spent together at the end was special. Lots of new friends. Thanks to the dealers, and WCCC for a great time. See you next year.....

Ok Grant,
I posted some pix in the general topics section of the 06 boats.
Here is a shot of an extremely clean 210 that was pulled by an equally clean 4x4...
