what for oil are you doing in your ski nautique 2001 gm 350 engine?
i think 15 w 40, am i correct? or should i use something else
and how much oil goes in it?

that is some heavy oil. 10W 30 should be fine. I've never heard of anyone else having a factory installed GM 350 in a SN 2001, but i'm guessing they use about the same amount of oil as the 351. Add 4 quarts, then check it. add, check, add, check...you get the point.

my 351 holds 10 quarts with the deep sump pan with an engine oil cooler. yes, it's almost on the hull. check the dipstick with the boat in the water if you have a chance. if you don't have a hose connected to the drain plug, get one from skidim. use a pcm or quality filter. ( i cheat and charge them to my account at the ford dealer. shhhhhhh. don't tell anybody)
