Midwest reunion??

I was thinking of having our own type of reunion, but on water. This way people can experience riding/skiing behind other boats. I don't think there would be enough people interested to just drive somewhere and not do anything. Obviously this would be done next year some time.

Well I literally thought of this yesterday, so I'm open to any suggestions. We have all winter to find a lake and pick a weekend. Looks like I'll have atleast one footin' buddy too! 8) I'll do some recruiting at www.inboardtalk.com, www.correctcraftfan.com, www.wakeboarder.com, as well as www.waterski.net (old and newe). Spread the word and check your calendars.

Hollywood, this sounds like a great idea, while I can no longer ski, my wife is an addict and loves to travel.

I think its a great idea. I'm all for it. I like the idea of a "secret lake" because I also take it that it isn't so popular. We'd have the lake to ourselfs.

I think it may be nice to have it relatively early in the summer, not skiing season. Skiing season can begin in March, summer begins in June-ish. Therefore it would be a nice start to warm weather. This is assuming the "secret lake" is relatively north. This is just an idea. Also, I know I go on vacation and to camp during the midst of summer.
