I've heard from a reliable source that CC is contemplating making hull changes to the 206 sometime in the near future. The reason being is that more promo guys are buying the 206 for purposes of resaile and CC wants to improve the wake and skiability. Anyone hear anything remotely like this?

Haven't heard anything yet but it sounds logical. I will let you know if I get any solid evidence of it.

Yeah, I'm pretty close to buying one and would hate it if CC came out with improvements to the hull for 2005. That would suck since I have to promise my wife no more boat purchases for five years. (Promises are made to be broken, right?)

Not to make your dealer mad but I would say hold on one more year. Maybe you could negotiate a good enough trade in deal with your dealer now that if the 05 changes, you can upgrade for very little cost?? He could make out in the end too.

Wonder if during any possible changes they could make the trunk swallow a 68" ski?
