Hi,
I want to upgrade our SuperSport from 1997 with a original FlightControl Tower. I understand that there are 4 models: 97-99, 00-01, 02-03 and 04.
Which one(s) will fit the SuperSport. I like the newer models (00 >), so it would be great if those fit. I heard before that a FCT from 02 and newer won't fit. Is that correct?
Thanks in advance, Tommy

You are correct. The FCT from a '00-'01 would fit fine on your boat though. In '02 they changed the deck of the SAN around a little and so the feet of the tower wouldn't line up properly.

The 00 tower is the way to go. I have a 2000 tower on a 99 supersport and it fits and works great. Being able to fold it was key so I can fit it in the garage. I'll try and attach a pic

Nice looking boat dirtweed!
Hey dirtweed, what's that on the tailgate of your truck? Is that a big decal, or a custom paint job. I love it. Let's see a close up.

Very nice boat Dirtweed!!
We decided to go with the FlightControl 2000-2001 tower.. It's got two week delivery  , but it's winter over here, so we survive..
One more thing to do are the decals... The boat is pretty much the same as Dirtweed's, but the main stripe is light blue. Above the main stripe till the black rubber (don't know the name) the boat is light grey. So not sure if the decals of 2003 are nice. The main decal then.. What are your thoughts about this? Just plain Air Nautique decals from 1997-1999? or the super Air decal of 1999 (I really dislike those), or go with the 2003 decals??
Thanks!!!

Thanks for the comments. I've had the boat for about a year. It started life as a 99 supersport and North Alabama Nautiques upgraded the graphics and tower to 2000 for the guy who owned it before I did. Put perfect pass and a ballast system in and it's perfect.
Put almost 200 trouble free hours on it. I like the look and layout of the older superair compared to the new. The only thing I am going to change is put carbon fiber over the wood grain dash and put a 2000 steering wheel on this winter.
The graphic on the truck is the dealer graphic (it's his truck....see northalnautiques.com for a close up).
