So far and from what I've heard...the 226s are not selling at all! New England CC has only sold 1 as far as i know and they are a large dealer! and if i'm correct, he still has 2 in stock and is struggling to get rid of them! our local dealer has only sold 2 and they were both special odered! These cant be selling that well! not only are they not selling, but our local guy is also sells Cobalts and when the buyer is looking for a boat like the 226, he pushes to sell the Cobalt. If i was looking to spend that much money on a boat for that purpose, i might as well get a cobalt as well. Nautiques aren't really the best runabuot boats. I think they are gonna sell like the fish nautique...meaning not a lot of them! :!: I give it a couple years... and then i think they will discontinue the model....i think that CC just had to make something to compete wiith the MariStar line. Does anyone have one? If so...what is it like? What were you considering when buying one....Do you think you made the right choice? when i looked in it...it was on a trailer and i couldn't get into it from the trailer...i had to jump on the platform...i hope CC knows what they're doing.... :? :? :?

i saw one on the trailer it looked alright. saw one on the water looked bad. looked like any i/o runabout. next year they should offer it in an outboard. atleast the maristar and escape still look like a ski boat. i will go with thumbs down

i think it will flop, and hopefully be put out of its misery.

btw, the choices for your poll don't really work with the question.

The 226 is an awesome boat!! It looks huge on the trailer but when it is in the water, it looks and performs like a champ!! I think they did an awesome job. I wish the price wasn't so high on it but other than that, the boat is awesome!! AirNautiqueRider226, do you have any pictures of it?

Looks wise, I think the 226 is way better than the new X-star or that X-80 mammoth. If I were in the market for a wake boat (had that kind of ca$h), I might choose the 226 over a SAN.

For being the monstrosity that it is, the boat drives like a dream, and from what I hear it seems to be selling in the Houston market. It's really big, I could fit myself and 8 of my best friends (preferably girls) in the engine compartment (if the engine were removed).

I think it is a natural progression of what everyone wants.. The 210's wake is better, but when it comes time to have a family and you are taking out wifey and kids, I think the 226 is a must.

Supposedly, it is an engineering marvel; the thing has virtually no bow rise even when fully weighted. If I haven't already mentioned.. I got to drive and ride behind the 226, and I think it will be here to stay. Bigger boats seem to be the progression of the inboard market and this boat is nice. But it does have its target market, people wanting to put 10+ on a boat and people wanting to have storage, of which my 210 has very little.

i looked at this boat at the ATL boat show last year, and I thought it was pretty trick. The boat has a nice layout, but the window is farther back like on a MC, Malibu, etc. and the short window is one thing nautique has that no one else does and is a big difference to me

Its true...That reason by itself would make my dad not even consider anythign but a Nautique...having that long windshield makes you feel like your inside like on a houseboat...esp on a sharp turn...having that short windshield really makes you feel like your out on the water... and thats somethign only a nautique can give you :!:

why not just buy a sante for riding and a pontoon saloon for getting your party on and you would still save money
