Shaun Murray Wakeboarding Video Game

I found this video game for PS2 and XBox and maybe some othe systems and it looked awesome! Even though wakeboarding is growing as a sport, it is not as popular as football, baseball, basketball, etc...so i was kind of surprised to find a wakeboarding video game. I've gotten it for a friend as a b-day present. She hasn't played it yet but from the covers and reviews it looks pretty nice. I noticed that the video game uses 210 Nautiques. I also noticed that the graphics are so good that you can tell the three differnt hatches over the engine and the two storage compartments next to it. That may not seem good but i think that is pretty good for a video game, esp for one that is for a relativiely un-popular sport. Anyway...i was wondering if anybody has heard of it and what they think of it...is it really that good? I need feedback! Thanks in advance... :D

I'm not into gaming all that much (i'd rather really be participating than playing the video game), but I just bought it too. My brother-in-law has an X-Box, so I plan to play it there. I've heard some good things about the game, but I've also heard that it is pretty unrealistic. There are some things that you can do with the rope that are just WAY out there. I think you can toss the rope to the driver while doing a trick, and have him throw it back when you're done with the trick (still going).

I'm pretty sure the Nautique in this game was actually an '02 model. The rear deck doesn't have the stripe down the middle of it, only the small stripes on the outer two pieces like the '02s did.

I've got this game on xbox and I think it is a great game. VERY unrealistic, but who cares. If I want realistic I'll go out and ride. It's especially great to pass the time if you can't ride; say for instance if you are sitting around the house after knee surgery because you experienced TOO much realism while wakeboarding!

hey....at least there is a nautique on the cover...it could have been MC or Malibu or something! This is good for CC's business..esp after the new X-Star ( i call it the bat boat) at the X-Games...however it probably wont make a difference...but its nice to have our boat on their oppose to MC' :twisted: or something...
