Contacted PCM about manuals for my 95 Sport Natique, sent wrong manuals. Also need wiring diagram for boat, cannot get any information from the manufacturer.

Maybe someone can help. Red Light worked great first two outings in 95, it would come on when ignition was turned on. It would go off when oil/water were within range. Then the boat died, would not start--sent to shop. It was returned with the Red Light on all the time. Dealer said it was supposed to be that way.

I disagreed and while performing some diagnostics on the other gauges I somehow managed to duplicate my problem 8 years ago. Light comes on with ignition, sensors signal pressure/temp and light goes off.

Unfortunately, I do not have power to the fuel pumps and I cannot find any wiring schematic of the boat whatsoever.

Any ideas on where to obtain the mystery manauls would be great.

Anyone have a manual for a 2001 model - PCM GT-40 5.8L HO-MPI that they could make a copy of for me? Also, will be glad to scan and put into Acrobat as well.

I ordered the engine manual from skidim for my 1991 Ski Nautique with the 351 Ford. I think it's kinda lame. I was really more interested in a service manual for the engine. The manuals they have at skidim are just more like owner's manuals. :cry: oh well. I've been trying to contact some dealers that might be able to give me the hookup. Anybody know if I can get a service manual someplace?

yeah i have one from skidim and its a piece of crap. i want the boat manual that has s/n wiring diagrams and stuff

After looking through my four manuals: Orignal Owners Manaul, PCM Service Manual, PCM Parts Manual and PCM Tranny manual, decided to make my own wiring diagrams when I do some re-wiring this winter.

PCM sent the manuals at no cost (returned my check) Guess they figured I was getting what I paid for.

As my dad put it, he has seen better wiring with more attention to detail from a Monday morning technician after a two week drunk. Of course he is an electrical engineer who designed the wiring for the propulsion and gudiance systems for Boeing's I.U.S. (Rocket that sends satelites into orbit)
