I bought it in the beginning of July of this year. I went up to Eugene, OR to bring it back down to Sacramento, CA. This is the first year of the v-drive 454 set up Correct Craft offered. With the weight of the engine about about 600 lbs of additional weight on the boat, for the price you cannot beat the wake of this boat. The boat has a 3 outlet heater, aftermarket transom shower, and a decent stereo with 2 amps and a 10" sub in a box in the bow.

I finally took the "Barefoot Nautique" hull decals and grey pin stripe off the boat yesterday and spent a little time with a buffer. Turned out great so far, looking forward to finishing buffing out the entire boat.

What I have done so far:

New trailer tires/bearings
Full service on the engine
Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro
Dual battery with switch
Additional fuse block at helm

What I want to do this offseason:

2 Wet Sounds Rev8 tower speakers
Wet Sounds WS420 install
Rewire the stereo for future expansion
Maybe new board racks

In the mean time, I'm going to keep plugging away at the hours. I have already put over 30 hours on it since I bought it and will probably use it into October this year. I'd love to hear anyone input on anything cosmetic/mechanical to consider for the boat.

Thanks for checking it out!

I'm kind of old school, but I like the Barefoot decal with the two feet for O's!! Really nice looking 91, Congrats on the purchase. How many hours are on the Big Block?

About 720 right now. I would put the decals back on, but I can't buy reproduction decals anywhere.

I bet not with a 20 year old Nautique. I'm worried about that with my boat if they need replacing. Might have to go custom??

Very nice boat! As far as the decals go you should be able to have them made or at least very close. Check with NautiqueParts.com. I know they are having repro decals made and may be able to order a one off of this decal.

Grant,

We have had the 1990 graphic scanned and reproduced. The problem with our set is the white ouline is a seperate decal that is laid first then the black and clear decal lays down over it. Very difficult to get perfectly lined up. Here is a 90 BFN that was had new gel coat applied from the rubrail down along with new graphics (obviously). 14223142241422514226

I really like your boat. Hope to see more pictures of it.

Thanks,

Yeah that new gelcoat looks amazing with those decals as well. I really like that '90 style more than the '91 gradient decals.

grkero,

You actually have 92 decals on your 91. The below pictures are from the 91 brochure and the second is from the 91 we have. The 90 and 91 are the same decal.

FYI more than anything.
