Carpet Replacement Tips 2001 SS/SA

Looking for guidance on replacing the carpet in my 2001 SS; is this something that is best left to the professionals?

Has anyone ever heard of after-market cutouts that could be installed via snaps like the newer styles?

I have replaced the carpet in three of my boats with really good luck. I always bought factory replacement carpet. Each time I pulled the old out I would save it as a pattern. Its not hard, it just takes patience.
