lubrication for jabsco pump impellers?

What do I use to lube my ballast puppy green impellers? How often do I need to do it? Much appreciated.

none and none. I just installed them and no lube needed

I talked to a guy at pumpbiz today about the same thing and he recommended vegtable oil.
