During down time, I snowboard and ride dirt bikes to pass the time.

Normally, I'd be snow skiing all winter. This winter has had very strange weather though. A week and a half ago it was in the 70's for about a week straight, then last week it was in the single digits, now, finally, they're predicting some snow for us. Hopefully next week I'll make it up to the mountain...

Other than that, my time is spent working on my boat. It is still in about a million pieces. One of these days I'm going to finish up my ballast valve project. I'm also adding a couple of extra batteries.

Jeff,
I still need to get my boat (hopefully it will be here by Feb 1st)
I will have my hands full installing a stereo and extra batteries also. How long can you run the blue tops with the stereo on, and engine off?

Well, I suppose that would depend on the stereo, how well the batteries are charged, how much bass you're pumping out, how loud you're playing the music, and a few other factors. Maybe someone like Grant would be able to give us a little more insight on that one.

Jeff, what mountain do you go to ski at? Must be a long drive from VA.

Jeff,
Grant is actually helping me put together my stereo.
He was leaning towards golf cart/ deep cycle batteries.

Well, we call it a mountain around here. To you northerners, it's probably just a hill.

I snowboard a few days a week and work a lot to pay for all of my boat projects that need to get done before spring

Today was fun. Sat the HO tube, attached it to the hitch of the car with the tube rope, and was pulled up and down a big hill while riding in the tube on an un-plowed street. :)

Normally i'd be doing some snowboarding, but this winter up until this past week has sucked for that, so ive had more time & cubic dollars to spend on restoring my '78 Nautique

I sit around and try to heal my 41 year old elbows.
