I have a 2003 196 Limited with the Excalibur 330. I'm considering installing a Flush Pro when I winterize my boat in the next few weeks. It looks like there may be enough room between the water intake and the water strainer. The water temp sending unit woud need to be moved but I think it is doable.

Does anyone currently intalled? Is there any issue with mounting the Flush Pro vertically? My Ram-Lin trailer has a set of loading bunks that prevents the use of a Fake_A-Lake.

Any info or other options would be appreciated.

Just curioius why one would go through the trouble of this when they could just remove the hose below the trans cooler and hook up a garden hose there? I don't mean to be ignorant but I am clueless as to the benefits.

I put a flush pro in mine just before the water strainer (between the strainer and the intake). It took about 20 minutes to do, and was no problem The Flush Pro is great for working on the motor when it's not on the water.
