2003 Black SAN

Here's my 03 SAN that I picked up from WA, but now resides down under in Australia. It's a little different with the 06 tower fitted & I believe it's the only black SAN here in OZ.

We slotted a brand new Excal into it, and I have a few other mods planned - Ballast upgrade, stereo & Bimni to start with.

that thing's badazz man ... did that 06 tower bolt right on where the old one was? just curious if it aligned correctly, enjoy !

Chopper, to my kowledge not only are you the only all black 03 SANTE in OZ, but also only 1 of 2 ever built. I have the twin. I'm not sure which one was built first but I know I took delivery of mine in April 2003. (ordered in Jan.) Glad to see it went to a good home and is being taken care of now. I was pretty bummed when I saw it for sale with a busted engine last year. Congrats!

I'd say they were built together then if there were only 2. My hull date is 3/03, which would make sense for an April delivery.

Yeah the engine was a bummer. Ended up being totally junked. Cracked block, 2 x cracked heads (one with a big hole), 2 x cracked manifolds.

If you took delivery of your's new, you may be able to advise if the tinted screen is factory.? Is it glass.? Looks to be glass rather than film to me. I kinda wish it was film so I can take it off to see a little better.

Explanation I got was that it was an exceptionally cold winter in WA, and the "heater was accidently unplugged"

Just wasn't winterized and engine / exhaust was full of water.

It was fitted on the boat when I got it, but it is slightly misaligned. I plan to undo the bolts & see if I can tweak it into alignment. I want to remove the tower anyway to have it re powder coated.

The 06 tower has a large single mount bolt through the deck. I think the earlier towers had 3 or 4 smaller bolts through the mounting plates.?

I tinted my windows myself about 3 weeks after I took delivery. I have never heard of CC sending boats out with tinted windows so my guess is yours are film as well. My build date is 3/03 too, so I guess or boats practically sat side by side down the production line.
