The heater is in. I did it! Pictures attached to help you if you are thinking about doing it. I appreciate the help I received from a few in this forum. Thank you! It took about 10 hours. Take away a few for beer and other distractions, and you have a total of 8 real working hours. I could do it in 6 with some more practice. Wear gloves, and protect your arms. That fiberglass is nasty and painful.

I made a change. In my pictures, I took hot water off the drain for the engine block. It wasn't hot enough for my liking. I moved it to the temperature sensor port. I removed the water temperature sensor, and installed a T that was supplied with my heater kit. I reinstalled the temperature sensor on one end of the T and took my heater supply water from the other side of the T. I also installed a 160F thermostat in place of the stock 143F thermostat. The result is luscious hot air bathing my bod and that of my wife.

I am in the process of wrapping up a similar install. THe issue I am having is that I need a mounting place for my perfect pass module and the air vents. I prefer to have them all on my driver's kick panel to avoid hitting my module with skis/ropes/etc. Any thoughts?

Last, why didn't you install ball valves on the lines to the heater?? All my friends have done this to be able to turn it off in the summer and protect their weekends in case of a heater core failure. It costs an extra $20, but seems worth it to also make winterizing easier.
