search broken?

Is the search function broken? The last several times I have tried to search on something it comes up empty. Last search was for the Corinthian snap in carpet group buy.

It worked for me....search for *corinth*

useing the stars lightens the perfection required for a match e.g. *rpm* yields rpm; rpms; rpm's;

sometimes taking a starred short version of the word helps pick up threads with mispelled words.

I am always surprised at the number of people complaining about the search on this site. I have never had any trouble with it at all. Can you give me the specifics of what you're doing when you try to use the search and come up empty? I would love to know what people are doing to come up with no results.

I just ran a search for corinthian and found seven results.

I don't think a lot of people are used to including the AND and OR when searching for multiple terms.

ditto - just add +site:planetnautique.com

and I have found posts that would not show using the PN search.

I also like the text only pages like

I wonder if Jeff will tell us how to get a list of recent posts in this format so I can load them faster on my blackberry.
