View Full Version : 03 Air 206 - TX Stolen Boat - Anyone know the owner???

I came across this today and you can tell this guy is trying to sell a stolen boat. The hull VIN is scratched off and he has it listed in two different states for sale for cheap. I reported it, but in case anyone knows someone that had a 03' air 206 stolen here are the links. I figured I would want someone to help if it was my boat.

For a 2 dollar fee you can get the info at TPWD office.

I might me near one tomorrow. If I am, I'll do it.

There is an old deck boat LoK uses to move the mowers to the island. I've always wondered who was the last to register it. My dad told me about the 2 dollar deal. He had done that to check out some boats he was shopping.

Looks like a 216 not a 206.

That boat was for sale at HWC for a while, I tried to check their site but it says it has been discontinued.

The Capacity plate on the throttle even reads "Sport Nautique 216"

That's probably not stolen, but just photos someone is using as a scam. Everyday ads are put online with photos from other peoples auctions in an attempt to turn some coin.

Just out of curiosity - did you see it in person? I did not notice the scratched off part - Price is dirt cheap though
BTW - those, as previously posted, are correct as the 206 is not a 10 passenger

I think he means scratched off the photed....cheesy photoshop. Zoom in and you will see.

Typical scam artist. I emailed the seller. Gave me a story of being out of town working. Her husband died 6 months ago. It'll be sold through ebays vehicle buyer protection plan, it's in San Diego at a shipper. blah, blah, blah.

I like that it only has 8.7 hours. Wow what a deal! Its 6 years old and not even broken in yet!
