Clarion XMD1 Removal

Hope someone has installed or removed a XMD1 before. How do you remove the four screws holding the unit in place. I think you have to remove the end pieces of the radio to get to the two screws on each side, but I dont want to start prying on the plastic end pieces until I know for sure.
Anyone had any experiences with the XMD1 Clarion.

hey riddlej, i just went through this and replaced my XMD1 with an XMD3. Open the CD door and there's a vertical slot on each side. Stick a std screwdriver in the slot and pry gently. The side trim piece should pop off pretty easily exposing the underlying screws.
