Anybody from down in that area?? What kind of information are you getting about the weekend weather? I am all over the internet looking at various different path predictions. Looks about 50/50...

We have a family housboat trip to Griderhill Dock....and are starting to worry about lingering IVAN troubles.

Can anybody recommend some alternative skiing/fishing locations within a 6 hour drive of Indianapolis? Preferably not in the path of a dying hurricane!! And Preferably south. :?:

For weather predictions, try www.wunderground.com. The nice thing is they predict the wind also...this is quite usefull in predicting skiability (is that even a word).

that's a word...at least in my dictionary.

I have used that website...along with about 4 others to track last night and this morning....Ivan's little shift to the east to miss New Orlean's...made all the difference for south central KY. It looks like we'll get wet getting loaded on Friday, but will be OK the rest of the weekend.

thanks

Here is a link that I have used extensively when I travel to LC

http://lakecumberland.com/news/lcn/weather.shtml

You can post a q on their forumn and get a quick answer.

Here is the weather prediction for Somerset. It depends on where you plan on going. I usually go to Grider Hill.

weather was completely and totally awesome....light breeze, but still found great water for barefooting, wakeboarding, skiing and playing. A perfect weekend.

BTW - I was able to get up long line barefooting for the first time. Went until I couldn't hold on any more....big fun
