Did Correct Craft use the Power Plus 1.23:1 transmissions in all of their Nautiques after 1989? I'm looking to buy a '90-'96 and am wondering if I need to look to see what transmission is in the boat.

I believe the power plus transmission was an optionat least through '94. Back when I replaced my prop, I had to specify whether or not my boat had the 1.23:1, so I assume that there was a possibility that it could have had the 1:1.

Actually, the term Power Plus is PCM's brand name for both the 1:1 and 1:23 transmissions. Power Plus refers to the lightweight case materials and clutch design, etc. And nautiques of the 90-96 era have both transmissions, so watch out!

That's some good information. We really need to get all of this type of information (engine options, transmission options, interior options, etc.) broken down by year. I'd like to create some kind of chart detailing that information, and post it to the main page. Does anybody have easy access to that information?

What we really need is a dealer who has some old info pamplets from way back. For example, I have one from the early 60's that has every option available on those models at the time- It's framed in my hallway! I'd love to have the one from 1990. You'll see them pop up on Ebay from time to time.

actually, now that I think about it, I will ask the SKIDIM guys if they have something like this. You'd think they'd have to in order to get the right things to the right customers.
