View Full Version : Glove box shock
Does anyone know of a place to get a replacement gas shock? The dealer said they are on backorder, and haven't seen any for 3 months.
TIA

A couple of years ago my dealer did not have any of the gas springs for the glove box and was having troubles getting them. I called up the following company with the information on my old shock and they matched it up with one of theirs, they might be able to help you out.

My boat is a 98 closed bow, I will try to remember to look at the P/N on mine in the next day or so (boat is stored at the lake).

Beautiful day today, not too hot and very little wind so we went skiing. The P/N on the gas spring is SPD GS 4900 20. The 20 on the end is the pressure setting, I also tried a 30 but it was too strong. I hope this helps

Check www.whitelake.com or call them they should have them in stock, as I bought one from them recently.

I got one from my dealer. Larson Marine in Sacramento. They ordered from West Coast Correct Craft, since West Coast will not let me buy parts direct anymore.
Shocks wear out too soon. Heavy as- door on the glove box.
