funny you say that - cause my buddy had his 196 and traded his 07 one for the SV211 you see there since his son wanted to start wakeboarding and he still wanted to ski & the DD is also there . But - yes - the direct drive is the "ski" boat of our group.

I was hoping the guy accros the way with the yellow 210 would pop up on his dock, I wanted to get a pic of all of them lined up. Would have been a nice shot. Ill keep tryin all summer to get that shot.

yeah - grew up riding in the lagoon pretty much everyday. I still live right across the street - foster city side - from the slalom course.
Still ride there a few times a month on my buddys "strictly lagoon boat".
