iPod Setup?

Does anyone know how to hook up an iPod to their system using a docking stations or something that may be similar. I know you can do it through a dead radio station using iTrip, but that is not the best quality. If anyone can give me some advise it would be appreciated.

Alpine is about to come out with an adapter compatable with their ai-net model head units - i.e. CDA-9835 that will allow the iPod to integrate with the receiver. Reportedly the unit will display artists, tracks, play lists, etc and you will be able to control the iPod directly from the receiver. If only it had a wired remote option - wireless only at this point.
