I'm down on Wylie...keep my Super Air down there, so I don't get up to Norman much. if you ever want to ride down where it's quiet, hit me up.

Hey Gasman,
We're on Mountain Island, weekdays are awesome. I know Bremsen as well, we'll have to work out some weekday riding.

do you ride over by the sandbar & robby gordons house ? our last Nautique was a 1999 pro Air. your boat looks real familiar?

We ride up past the sandbar on Mountain Island. Is Robby's house on Mountain Island, I thought he was on LN?
I know your last boat, kinda. We know your vendor for the wrap. I haven't had my boat in Lake Norman yet, been to Wylie. Did you sell that boat? Is it still local, you had some nice detail on that boat.

Did you buy it from Justin the guy who is a VERY good rider? I think he's been trying to go pro? I saw him riding summer of 06 and 07, but not this year. I think he got a Malibu?
My boat is probably not too unique color wise as your old Pro, but mine has the Python engine in it, kinda nice for a gear head like me 8-)

BTW, love the 220, been droolin' over one of those for a while, I think I could talk the wife into one like yours cause of the orange...

Gasman, Stumpy creek is north of the 150 bridge off Perth Rd. If you know where the airport is...we're right at the end of the runway. Where do you keep your boat or put in? We'll have to work out an off-weekend to ride up on LKN or y'all can come down and enjoy the weekday butter on the river.

Hello All! I just moved to Charlotte from NJ. My family ownes a Nautique on the finger lakes in upstate NY. I had to move down here for work and am looking for someone to ride with. I'm 24, like to slalom and wakeboard, if any of you guys ever need riding buddies, someone to drive, ect let me know. I have lots of experience around boats and I'd love to get out down here. I'm the type that will wake up at 5am and meet you at the dock to get some flatwater in if you want. More than willing to pay for gas, bring drinks, whatever. Just looking to meet some cool people. Thanks!

-Mike

Just saw this post. I used to live on Norman in a cabin at what was called Outrigger Harbor, before the Peninsula took it over (now the Peninsula Yacht Club down Jetton Road and mega$$$ homes). We skied on the Davidson side of 77 or up above Bills Marina (depending on whether it was a course day or free day) I also skied a lot on Mountain Island above the sandbar, not far below the Norman ****. We boarded with a very, very good rider named Justin that lived deep in a great cove in the main part of the lake. I wonder if its the same guy...he'd have to be 27 now. I'm up north now and have a private lake I'm able to ski but really miss Norman and Mountain Island. You guys are pretty lucky. camo5210, I was at Camp Thunderbird way back when. I probably still know that lake like the back of my hand. That's a fun lake too.
I'll be down that way in a couple of weeks. A buddy has a nice old blue and white '83 Ski Nautique, and lives across the cove from Midtown Sundries ( is it still called that?) If you see us out and about, say hello.
