Jet Pilot's A-10 is great, but at the pricey end. It's very flexible and comfortable.

Look at the Oneill Vapor, I have one and I love it. They look a little funny at first, but they look good once they are on someone. Its a super comfy vest and it floats you really well. They are a bit expensive, but most good vests are.
