Differences between 99 and 01 SN

I own a 99 SNOB and ski behind my buddies 01 SN. They both have the GT-40 motor. I always thought these boats were identical but in looking at the 01, the motor seems lower in the bilge compartment. There is less room around the motor as well. Did CC lower the motor and shallow the shaft angle in 01? I always thought they did those changes in 02 with the TSC2 hull.

No motor changes really. They did reshape the motor box. No changes to the shaft angle. They put the "N" on the side of the boat and added keyless ignition with the digital gauges. Those were themajor changes. In 02, they dropped the engine significantly lower in the bilge.
