I caught this on the news last night. The story started with "Driver will need to determine which one to fix first, truck or boat"

Not a great way to start your vacation!

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A boat slid off its trailer and hit the pickup truck that was towing it on Tuesday on Interstate 270, NewsChannel 4 reported.

The accident happened when the driver slammed on his brakes for stopped traffic, authorities said.

The pickup also hit a semi-trailer, police said.

Two lanes of the highway had to be closed while the accident was cleared. The driver had minor injuries.

By the looks of things, he must have been moving pretty fast when he hit the semi-trailer. This just goes to show what can happen when drivers don't pay attention. People should be especially attentive when towing a boat.

That is one of the reasons we chose to build a home in a ski lake community. I am 3 houses from the ramp and will have a mooring spot on my canal in the next 12 months. I HATE trailering my boat. Some people have no choice. I feel for this guy. Of course, that is a pleasure boat, not a ski boat, so the rules are different when it comes to dock space.

Well now we know which is stronger, the tow eye or the wench on the trailer....

Looks like an outtake from a James Bond movie...

I hate to say it but that simply sucks...
