WANTED: Nautique Super Sport

I am currently looking to purchase a Nautique Super Sport. I am in Northern Indiana, but am willing to travel pretty much anywhere east of the Rockies for the right boat at the right price. Eric over at Mid-Ohio Nautiques (http://www.midohionautiques.com/index2.htm) has this one available. I got a chance to take this one out for a ride just before the mid-west Correct Craft reunion, and this is a very nice boat.

Any reason you're looking for a Super Sport and not a Super Air? Are you looking for one without a tower?

I don't see a Super Sport for sale on their website. If you have any more information, I would really appreciate it. What year, hours, etc? Mid-Ohio isn't too bad of a drive for me, so I may be interested.

The reason I'm looking for a super sport is because I can't afford a Super Air. I would probably need to get in something '99 or older depending on price. Plus, I like to do a lot of customizing to the boat myself like putting in my own ballast system, tower, stereo, etc. Anyways, if you have any more info on that boat at Mid-Ohio, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

They have it listed as an Air 210, but it has the Super Sport graphics. I doubt their cost is any less than they would charge for a Super Air. Here's the link:

Thanks for the links. I have seen all of those boats on the internet. The '98 with only 63 hrs looked sweet, but I called the guy and they sold it a while ago. The '97 from Silver Spray doesn't look bad, but I think it has close to 600 hours on it and they were asking like $28,900 for it, which I think is kinda high for that boat.

The other ones are pretty much out of my price range. If I just got a super sport with now tower, etc, I would probably need to be at least around 26k or below. If it had a tower and perfect pass or something, I could go closer to 29k or so. Thanks again for the info.

I know the marina selling it. The guys that owns it is Tom. He's a very reputable guy and would trust what he is selling. That's a good price for a boat with the hours it has.

I actually saw that auction a couple days ago and I am going to test drive it today!!! I am so pumped, this is the kind of boat I have been looking for. Hopefully I'll be a Nautique owner soon!

The marina actually isn't selling it, they are just holding it for a guy that bought a boat from them. I will actually be buying it directly from the owner of the boat. Anyway, wish me luck! I hope this rain stays away so I can test drive it.

Check @ Lauderdale Lakes Marina 262-742-3898. Talk to Jesse or Travis. They have a 99 I think that they need to get rid of. Its in excellent condtion.

Actually, I ended up buying a '97 Super Sport about 2 weeks ago. It was in awesome condition and only had 94 hours on it. I am currently in the process of turning it in to a SAN. The tower should be on by the end of this week and I am supposed to be getting the SAN graphics today to replace the old Super Sport graphics. Thanks for the offer though.

I have a 99' special SAN. it is really a Super Sport with balast, and tower. It has a 430 hp, 502 GM python motor. Not but about a hundred like it. Oh yea. I got a special four-blade pulling prop. The boat is in by no means "showroom" condition, but It runs great. Low hours 225, and I have at least 500 hours driving time behind Nautiques. I drive it properly. I have many extra's board racks, fat sacks. custom Nautiques cover,...
